Happy Sundays loves! It’s March 10, 2019 and game changing news has struck!! Marshalls is opening an online store!
When it comes to decorating a home or space, details like the “little things” really change a whole look. Anyone who knows or loves decorating knows you can spend big bucks on the small details that complete a look. It is easy to go over board and the knick knacks can bump you right past your budget. I believe the bulk of your budget should be put towards the larger details, and the things we physically use in the space. Spend the money on your couches, window treatments, even rugs! These are the things that are, of course, more pricey. But you definitely get what you pay. You don’t want the large focal points of your space to look cheap, or begin to fall apart after some time. With that being said, I am all for the strict budget on knick knacks and accessories. Marshalls, Home Goods, and TJ Maxx are my go-to places for the little details that complete the look. The selections are sometimes hit or miss, but when its a hit, its a hit! You can find so many different styles, and accessories don’t usually have a cheap look to them. The only problem I have with these chains is if you find something you like, you have to grab it quick. Usually there is only 1 or 2 of the same thing, and most likely, if you leave and go back for it the next day, it will be gone. This leaves little room for thought and envisioning.
I think an online store for these chains is a power move for their business. Today, people love the convenience of shopping with the tap of their finger. I also feel an online store will provide better quality items for the shoppers. When shopping in-store at a Marshalls, things are often times broken and marked down. This online store will assure things arrive to you un-touched. I hope Marshalls shocks their shoppers with the selections they launch on their online store.
